How do I register?
FAQ's and other important Info.

If you can't find the answer here....give us a call!!
Atlantic Gymnastics has open enrollment throughout the year! Families can register and view our current schedule through our customer portals, our App, or you can contact the front desk to enroll for classes.
Payments for classes through the portal will automatically be prorated to the number of classes left in the month, or summer session. If you are trying to register the same day of class, please contact the office. If you have been a customer at Atlantic before today, please follow these instructions to connect to your existing account through the portal.

How much do classes cost?

September 2025 - June 2026 PRICING*
45 minute classes - $112*/month
60 minute classes - $116*/month
1.5 hour classes - $160*/month

The cost listed above reflects a month with 4 weeks of classes.

We do offer sibling discounts or multiple class discounts.
10% off second child or class
20% off third child or class and any additional enrollment.

How do payments work?

If you are registering during our 7 week summer session, the system will automatically prorate the number of classes left in the session. Summer session is billed once for the full session. You are not automatically registered for the Fall/Spring session.

During the school year, September-June, we bill our customers on a monthly basis. Payments are processed on the 20th of the month for the following month's enrollment. For example: payments processed on September 20th are paying for enrollment in October(10/1-10/31). When families register during the school year(September -June) the default drop date is the end of June. Families can withdraw and cancel payment at any time. If you wish to cancel enrollment, email notification must be sent by the end of business day on the 17th of the month.

Trials

If you are not certain about registering for gymnastics and you would prefer to try a class before committing to recurring payments, you are welcome to pay for an individual class. If you wish to set up a trial class please contact the office. Trial classes cannot be set up through the portal.

Makeups

Registered students are able to schedule makeups for missed classes. You must be currently enrolled to do makeups. Makeups accrued during a session cannot carry over, unless you continue into the next session. Makeups expire 2 months after they have been added to the account. Once a makeup is scheduled it can be rescheduled as long as the gym is notified 24 hrs in advance. You do not need to notify the gym prior to an absence to receive a makeup token, however it is appreciated. You can submit an expected absence under the student profile in your account. See video below.

Atlantic Gymnastics does not offer refunds for missed classes or early cancellation. Refunds are given only to customers who withdraw prior to start of enrollment. NO refunds or credits are given after a student's enrollment begins. With prompt notification of a medical/family emergency an individual may withdraw from class and make up missed classes where space is available, within 30 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should my child wear?
Appropriate gym attire. Leotards are best, or shorts and a tank top/Tshirt. We ask that all students wear form fitted clothing so if they are attempting skills that are upside down their clothing stays where it should. Please no clothing with belts, buckles, zippers, etc. Do not wear cargo shorts or jeans, two piece dance outfits or loose or baggy clothing.
AGTC DRESS CODE
I missed a bunch of classes and we would like to cancel. Can I use my makeups towards classes next month?
No. All makeups must be done while you are currently enrolled. Makeups cannot be carried over to classes after the last day of the student's enrollment.
My child has not participated in gymnastics at your facility. Can they do a trial before we register?
Yes. We do allow one day enrollments so families can pay for an individual day before committing to classes. Please email or call the office if you find a class that has an opening. If all classes are waitlisted you can add your student to as many classes that work for your schedule and we will call you when a spot becomes available. We will schedule the one day enrollment once a spot becomes available.
How long are your sessions?
In a general sense, Atlantic has two "sessions". One is September to June, and then we have a 7 week session over the summer. We usually don't consider our time during the school year a session because we have open enrollment throughout the year and customers can sign up at any time and cancel at any time.
Are you open today?
If you are wondering if we are open due to a holiday or school vacation you can always check our calendar page to see our prescheduled closures. If you are wondering if we are closed due to weather, we will have it posted on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and on News and Announcements on our App. You will also receive an email notification.
How does my child become a competitive team member?
Students are invited on to the competitive team at our Portsmouth location by teacher/coach recommendation.
I need to cancel my child's enrollment, what do I need to do?
During the school year, send a cancellation request to the gym location your child is registered at by the 17th of the month to cancel the payment that processes on the 20th.
Portsmouth:
portsmouth@atlanticgym.com
Dover:
During the summer, once your student has started classes,  you cannot cancel enrollment.

I have questions about my child's progress. How do I communicate with their coach?
You are always welcome to stop at the front desk or send us an email to let us know if you would like to speak with your child's instructor. You are also welcome to find your child's coach before or after class.
When will my child move up in levels?
We do not separate our students by skill until they enter into a Rec program. Once in a Girls Beginner Rec, Beginner Tumble, or Beginner Ninja class, they will begin working on a sticker chart to track their skill level.
Each Level has two charts, an 'A' chart and a 'B' chart. When a student completes their 'B' chart they will be moved to the next level.

If you would like to continue with enrollment you can do so by connecting to the Customer Portal.

If you are not accompanying your student to their first class, please print out our Registration form/waiver to submit to the office.
